will either be a soccer player, a kicker, or a wrestler.... and a big eater.......... Well, we head to the regional tournament today in York, the sticks. We lost the coin toss so we are the 7 seed instead of the 6 seed and we have to play the 2 seed. I am missing one of my starters due to an injury so we will be hurting. I don't care about winning I just want to play well. On another note it is homecoming week and things are crazy, as usual, but as always lots of fun too. Say a prayer for my aunt today, mom's sister, she is having both ladies removed and reconstructed today. They say it is a 6-8 hr surgery. Mom is upset because my aunt is all of her family she really has left, other than us and my aunt's 3 kids. This will be her 2nd battle with the cancer and she is not looking forward to the Chemo and all of its "joys."
Update!
She made it throught the surgery ok this morning. They ended up not being able to do the reconstruction because her levels were too low. So, she didn't get her tummy tuck after all, they did implants instead. The good news is it only ended up being a 3 1/2 hour surgery and because of the implants her recovery will be less than half of the original time. They were able to skip the ICU and put her right into a room where she will stay for a few days....
