Anyone watch friends "How you doin?"

Have been the 2 things in my life lately. Just this evening I received a call back on a resume I submitted. I have a phone interview tomorrow at 5pm and if I make the cut into the top 3 I will interview in person with the owner. It is for the same position I interviewed for a couple of weeks ago, just a different location. I made it into the top 2 of that interview but was beat out by someone with more experience. The people I interviewed with like me so much they gave me the lead for the other location that is hiring. It would be a further drive but God knows what he is doing. So keep us in your prayers. Eric and I are also being faced with some big decisions but everything has kinda been put on hold due to the job thing.

Corban update 4 months

Stats 14lbs 14oz - still will not sleep through the night!!!!!!

25 1/2in - looks like he is getting mommy's height....

He can roll from his tummy to his back and only once has he rolled from his back to his tummy

EVERYTHING and I do mean everything goes in his mouth

When Zoe licks his feet he streches his legs out and spreads his toes as if to say "get all of it"

Is still not a big fan of tummy time

So far he likes cereal, mixed with baby apple juice, sweet potatoes and squash

Wow how time flies by

I can't believe Corban will be 4 months old on Sat. He is growing so big so fast. My only complaint is he will NOT sleep through the night. He still wakes up at least twice to nurse, not that he is hurting for food. More to post about him later. I went for an interview on Monday, I think it went well. I should know someting by the end of this week so keep us in your prayers. I am qualified for the position with my sales background but I do not have a license, which I can get easily... or so I am told. It is something I think I will enjoy, I will post more later when Corban isn't fussy!!!!!

The return

Well, we are back. I wouldn't call it rested, but we had fun. My niece and nephew went on their fist go-cart ride, neither one of them liked it they were both terrified, but were determined to do it. We suprided Eric's step-dad's dad with a suprise 74th birthday party at the park close to his house. It was the 1st time, I am pretty sure, he has gotten to see any of his grandkids. We managed to find the Children's place outlet and found some great deals. Since Corban and will are so close in age they will be matching, but hey they will look so darn cute! Oh well, the job search continues. I will post pics when I get them uploaded....

So, it continues.... I am keeping an eye on several websites that post openings and submitting my resume. Please keep us in your prayers.

Corban's boil medicine ran out and he still has the boil. I called the doc and they are called in another round of meds. The boils is much softer so I guess it is running its course.

Eric's sister Kaci and her husband have been trying for kids for a while (2yrs. or so) went to the doc the other day so see if there was anything "blocking" her. (She doesn't have a normal cycle at all.) The doc did an ultrasound to look and lo and behold there was a 3 week old baby in there!!!!!! They are so excited! Please keep them in your prayers too, we know how brutal that first trimester is.

Eric and I leave Thurs. for Gatlinburg my aunt and uncle have a cabin in a gated community in Severeville, (15min north of Gatlinburg) that we are going to say in. There is no phone or cell reception and no cable. Eric's parents and his brother Michael and his family will join us on Friday. Since Corban has 2 more cousins on the way and Christmas will be here before you know it Amanda and I plan on hitting up the outlets to get some good deals. So, I don't have to tell you there will be TONS of pics to post when I get back!

Here goes the food...

So the past couple of weeks I have been giving Corban cereal, in hopes that he would let me get one full night of sleep, yeah right. He wakes up to nurse at least twice during the night. Tonight he gets sweet potatoes, we shall see how that goes.... Also, I got a lead on a job today that would be awesome, it would not be teaching or coaching but it would be really good, so keep us in your prayers.

So, I lost my

job the other day...... At least I get paid through August something. It is nothing I can be mad about enrollment at school is low and since I had only been there 2 years I was low man on the totom pole. Honestly, I was not too suprised my headmaster had been acting kind-of distant the past month. I have put in an application at Kingwood. They have a history teacher not returning but at this point their enrollment level is too low to replace them just yet. Mrs. Pickett said she would give me a call and let me know if things change. So I guess I will take a few weeks and enjoy spending time with Corban. From there I don't really know where to go, just praying about things. Well I am off to get ready for a wedding!!!! I love wedddings, they make anyone grouch happy .

Quick update

Well, the school year is almost over and I will get to spend some time at home with Corban starting next week. I have 2 exams to give tomorrow and one to give on Friday and I am DONE for the year. Things have been a bit crazy at home. Aaron's wife Brittny is expecting and is due on Nov 14th. Eric and I and his family are going to Gatlinburg in a couple of weeks to visit his dad's dad. We are staying in my aunts cabin in the mtns. It has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a full kitchen, laundy, living room and loft, which each of have pullout sofas. I can't wait to hit the outlet mall!!!!! Maybe I can go Friday with Amanda and Gail.

Corban update, I had to take him to the doctor yesterday to get a knot looked at...... turns out it is a boil, on his tooshie, right up against his poopooer. Let me tell you how much fun that is. It doesn't seem to be bothering him too bad but if you push on it he will flinch, they said the most painful part is when it drains. The doc perscribed an anti-biotic and said that if it doesn't get better they will have to send us to Children's Hospital to have it lanced. This weather has gotten both of us, I sound lke a man and Corban squeeks when he cries or laughs....

has discovered his mobil moves and will watch and smile at it
has started teething
loves to put his hands, arms, bib, blankets and birp cloths in his mouth
loves to look at lights and bright colors
wears a size 2 diaper (big boy)
is still waking up 2 times a night to eat... even with cereal
loves to go outside
likes it when daddy gives him a bath
hates to have his ears cleaned
will "talk" to people he knows and celing fans
will "yell" at a celing fan if it is not turning
loves his swing and bouncy seat
will sit up in a seat and hold his head up foe 15-20 minutes at a time
has started trying to sit up out of his car seat
likes to pull my hair while eating
locks his knees out so I can't sit him up to burp if he is not done eating
